Press Release Body: 7/17/2008: The Producers of the DVD, The Jewish Basketball Hall of Fame, announced today that they have entered into a worldwide film distribution agreement with The National Center for Jewish Film /Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. The DVD is the first volume of the Jewish Sports Legacy Series presented by JewishPrideSportsHeroes LLC. It contains the most complete action history of the legendary Jewish basketball players of the twentieth century, bringing over thirty players to the screen in all their glory.
\"To put it simply, we are thrilled that Brandeis had agreed to distribute our DVD,\" said Izzi Lifschutz, one of the producers and a one-time basketball player at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. \"They are the world\'s leading authorities on Jewish films and the top distributor. Izzi, who, in addition to his basketball credentials, is also an actor who appeared in several successful films, including The Chosen, Pi and Stranger Among Us.

To complete the DVD he rescued material from long forgotten archives, basements and attics and digitally enhanced it using state of the art equipment.
